Basically I want to make the editor easier to use for a non-techy person and the Gutenberg preferences allow me to do so. Open the Site Editor by using the Admin Bar 2. Open the Templates menu (typically /wp-admin/site-editor.php?path=%2Fwp_template) 3. Locate both the “Blog-Homepage” and “All Archives” entries in the templates- lists. 4. Open the “Blog-Homepage” template and click into the preview to use Gutenberg. Copy the necessary elements using the context menus (to locate the elements I suggest using the list view – just press the three lines in the top bar). 5. This worked indeed! * > A workaround on your end would be to use a custom taxonomy.
