Thank you :)!
Hi Stiofan,
I already started a post there, here is the link: https://userswp.io/support/topic/cant-delete-deactivate-bio-field/#post-8129
Thank you
Hi Patrik,
thank you for your reply. Sadly I cannot deactivate it, it is just not possible, Each time I get the message: “Spalte konnte nicht geändert werden. Du hast möglicherweise zu viele Spalten”. In english it roughly translates to: “column couldn’t be changed/edited. Perhaps you’ve got too many columns”. Also the field disappears then and reappears when I reload the site, without any changes of course.
Well I actually have 13 of those fields there, which shouldnt be too much. I need em all on the page and I’m able to edit others, just not the bio field, which is weird.
How can I upload a screenshot here? I dont see an option to do that.
I’ve got the latest version of the plugin, this error already happened in dec 2019, but then the client didnt care anymore about it, now it came up again and I need to fix this somehow. Complete uninstall hmm I hope that won’t destroy too much of the site and it’ll be easy to restore it.
Kind regards and thanks for your help,
Sascha

Hi Stiofan,
sadly I cannot deactive it via the settings, it’s not working, as soon as I save it I get an error message, which makes no sense and the field disappears in the settings, then I reload them and its there again, still unchanged.
Yes right, I dont want it to be displayed on the Profile page, or it shouldnt be named “Über mich” at least, thats the german translation. “Details” would be better, but well best would be to get rid off it.
Thank you for your help so far, Stiofan,
Kind regards,
Sascha
@webdev10 I’d like to do the same regarding the bio-field on the profile-page, but it doesnt allow me to do this … can’t even change any of the setting or delete it.
This seems weird and not intended, or is it?
Kind regards,
Sascha
Hi Champ Camba,
yeah I’ve done that. I’ve done pretty much everything that is to do with the plugin to enable it. I think the problem is the sitebuilder I use -> Yoothemes.
It’s overriding the plugin(s). Do you have a simple JS-Code perhaps, which simply states that a page shouldnt be displayed, if a certain user is logged in?
