 * Hey!
    Thanks very much for trying out Dovetail; it’s always a pleasure to hear
   someone else is putting it to good use out there!
 * You’ve uncovered something that hasn’t actually been captured before; well done!
   To answer your question: no, there isn’t currently.
 * When a role gets deleted you’re right, it does exhibit that behaviour. I guess
   the problem is that when you delete a role in Dovetail, you’ve got to handle
   the fact that there might be people with that role currently in the database.
   There’s two ways to handle that:
    1. Once a role is created, you can’t delete it
    2. Deleting roles causes everyone to be demoted to another status (like the default“
       subscriber” level)
 * Actually, my feeling is number one’s the best option. What do you think?

 * Hi pemkuar14,
    Thanks for getting in touch! Dovetail is a membership plugin;
   right now it allows you to set up new membership levels in WordPress, restrict
   access on a per page or per menu item level and a few other things.
 * Dovetail’s been built to work well with other plugins and stay close to how WordPress
   works. It works great with Gravity Forms (we’re using it on a client’s site right
   now with User Registration actually) and should work well with that front end
   editing plugin too (though I must confess I haven’t used that one; it sounds
   good though so I’ll take a look!)
 * The bits Dovetail doesn’t currently provide on your list are member expiration,
   a payment gateway and post number restriction. We’ve actually built the payment
   gateway and member expiration into it for another client; I just need to spend
   time abstracting this to work for the plugin itself.
 * Hopefully that clears it up for you but don’t hesitate to respond! Any feedback
   is most appreciated.
