The example you provided above is exactly what I want, even if it is considered a second page of the home page. I not only chose Kale for the look, but the layouts in the sample. When I installed the theme it came with the “blog” page already set up, but I could not get it to look like the sample. Understanding me? It is very confusing when the wording in the program says “This applies to all blog feeds on all pages, including the front page.” I used a SiteOrgin Widget Bundles because there was no other explanation of how to achieve this. The Posts in Page plug in gives me a list with descriptions, but includes no featured image and it just runs down the page.
