 * currently we have the same or similar problem,
    if we resave the settings->language-
   >settings->URL modifications the urls work for some hours and break again.
 * it seems that an translated url like domain/fix-slug/cat/subcat/ is a problem
   for polylang?
    this url construction works if its the BASE language
 * we think we can exlcude some 3rd party plugins cause this behaviour.
    Anyone 
   with an idea?

 * We have checked now the cachesystem on the server and also this is not the reason
   from this side.
    Question now: why are the settings made in the module are not
   persistent?

 * New situation now: we have only to save Polylang setting -> URL setting: Language
   defines content AGAIN altghough the settings are already set.
 * then everything works. What is the reason for that, any ideas?
