In many instances like this I always use this plugin [http://www.introsites.co.uk/wordpress/html-on-pages-plugin.html](http://www.introsites.co.uk/wordpress/html-on-pages-plugin.html), it is a short plugin and editable, you can change the extension (.html) to many other like: .asp, .shtml, etc. * But please note: if you do an edit to your permalink setting please deactivate the plugin and activated it again when your done. Try a Different Browser: Our service usually works perfectly with most flavors of Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Internet Explorer. But if clearing the cache doesn’t help out, switching to any other browser than the one you’re currently using may be the way to go. If you’re not sure which browser you’re using now, take a look at Google’s excellent whatbrowser.org. It’ll tell you which browser you’re using right now and even allow you to update it to the newest version (should there be a newer version than the one you’re using). * 2. Check Your Browser Extensions: Most browsers allow you to install third-party extensions that “add” functionality to the browser. Some extensions are useful. Many are not. You may have installed an extension to your browser without even knowing it and some extensions can interfere with programs like ours. The amount of JPEG compression is typically measured as a percentage of the quality level. Basically, your host server just cannot handle the load (specially when you are on shared hosting). Your site will get really slow and for some users even output the error. If you blow it, you may render Windows unbootable. * Second, cover your behind at every step. System Restore (in Windows XP and Me) can safely return you to the point just before you crashed. Click Start, Programs( All Programs in XP), Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, select Create a restore point, and step through the wizard. Make a new restore point before each change. * You may also need to make your system files visible. Open Explorer or any folder window, and click Tools, Folder Options, View. Click Show hidden files and folders, and make sure that both ‘Hide extensions for known file types’ and ‘Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)’ are unchecked. Click Yes if you see any Windows warnings. (More on warnings later.) Run your up-to-date antivirus and anti-spyware apps. Finally, delete a file only if you strongly believe it’s part of a malware infestation. For example, don’t use the following techniques to remove old DLLs from your system folders.
