 * [@jdembowski](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jdembowski/) – This just isn’t
about abrasiveness. He has a history of going through, and casting punitive 1-
star reviews of plugins all predicated on a false basis, and consistently abused
the devs (ourselves included). Since you’re a mod, how else do you suggest dealing
with these types of individuals that are ultimately destructive to the community,
and drive away devs? (This all stemmed from a back channel complaint from a fellow
   dev).
 * This isn’t about like or not like at all.

 * “The problem”, mythusmage, is the fact that you’re an _[ profanity redacted ]_.
You still haven’t learned that you shouldn’t abuse people that volunteer their
time in a way that inures to your benefit.
 * I’m going to continue to follow your trail and call you out for the _[ also redacted]_
   you are wherever you go.
 * Keep it up, champ. Maybe one day you’ll learn to engage people in a mutually
respectful way that acknowledges the fact that you provide absolutely nothing
to the community, and only detract from it.
 * [@maithilish](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maithilish/) – don’t be sorry.
Trust me, this clown not using your stuff is absolutely the best thing that could
happen to you. He’s been going around harassing and abusing devs on a number
of different plugins because he’s an ignorant buffoon who doesn’t realize he’s
technically illiterate. Unfortunately, his lack of self-awareness also fuels
   his caustic attitude.
 * Ignorance is bliss, as they say – except for everyone else.

 * I’m waiting with bated breath.
 * On another note, it takes an incredible amount of gall for someone to give a
plugin a 1 star review, all based on a false notion, and then come back wanting
support to install it all over again. (Again, with problems stemming from user
   error)

 * NextScripts and Peter: We’ve had our own run in with this guy. [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/why-wpmu](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/why-wpmu)
 * Mythusmage: you owe these guys an apology, as well as a retraction of your 1
star review. Everything that the author said is 100% true. WP Core handles all
matters of installing, updating and removing of plugins. It is very likely that
it was cacheing that caused the issue you’re referring to.

 * Actually, mythusmage, I whole heartedly implore you to find another platform
to work with that may be more in line with your competencies.
 * I don’t mind ignorance, but your ignorance lacks self-awareness. Beyond that,
you’re malicious, and you act destructively based on that ignorance.
 * From what I can tell reading your post history, this is the typical cycle.
 * 1) You screw up the plugin or due to your ignorance, you errantly expect a certain
   outcome.
    2) You then reflexively blame the plugin authors and then audaciously
rate their plugin one star. 3) You then join their forum, casting aspersions
   and demean the plugin authors.
 * You have no idea what you’re doing or talking about. You’ve proven that unequivocally
just in this exchange. You are precisely the reason why so many people end up
leaving open source. They can’t stand having to put up with this kind of buffoonery.
 * I have yet to come across someone in this community who is more destructively
   ignorant than you are.

 * Firstly, WPMU is a company. WordPress Multi-User no longer exists. It’s now called
multisite and baked into core. [https://mu.wordpress.org/](https://mu.wordpress.org/)
 * Secondly, Aesop runs on both single and multisite installs without a problem.
 * Thirdly, what does multisite have to do with space?
 * Fourthly, I heartily suggest your educate yourself on WordPress matters before
cavalierly making erroneous declarations or passing along misinformation. The
statements you’re making with authority about this plugin (and WordPress) are
   categorically false.
 * Fifthly, if you’d like assistance, ask for it. Coming onto the forums guns ablazing
when the issues seem to stem from user error probably isn’t a good way to start
the conversation. We develop this open source for your benefit. We just request
that you have some patience and perspective.
 * That is, unless you’re trying to invoke a “feeling of contempt.”

 * [@mythusmage](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mythusmage/) – I’m not sure
if you’re just trolling everyone right now. You’re either a simpleton or pretending
to be a simpleton. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt and going with the
   latter.
 * Since you already have a terrible attitude, deep sense of entitlement, propensity
for breaching decorum, are overtly obtuse on technical matters and incredibly
spiteful, may I suggest another profession or hobby where you don’t have to rely
   on the contribution of others?
 * BTW: Where’s your contribution to the community that allows you to galavant on
your high horse, doling out 1 star judgments based on false premises?

 * mythusmage – the sense of entitlement that allows you to demand frictionless
use of a free plugin, or you give it one star, is breathtaking. You represent
everything that’s wrong in the open source community.
 * This is made ever more contemptible by the fact that it does, indeed, work.
