 * Ok, I have translated the strings through polylang as suggested, my backend is
   in english so no need to translate those. The problem still persists though.

   I have tried on an installation that uses wp store locator but not polylang and
   the issue is not present, so as you said it may be a compatibility problem.

 * Another odd thing: when outputting posts through pods Gutenberg block or even
   with find() the items are not language filtered, so each one is present in all
   the three languages. But using Gutenberg’s loop block or wp_query posts are diplayed
   correctly in the right language.

 * Thank you for the answer, I know when other plugins are involed it’s always complex
   to pinpoint where the problem is.
    Wp all export does have a free [version](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/)
   here that handles the exporting part and another that handles the imports. (Only
   the ACF specific part is a premium feature, but to export serialized data I didn’t
   use that) This plugin, differently from “All-in-One WP Migration” and similar,
   exports just specific data through csv from wordpress and not the whole DB.
 * So, unlckily I’m not a programmer, however, I managed to get the data exported
   as serialized data. The main problem I have now is that I can’t import the serialized
   data, since it is apparently required to give key/value pairs or a custom PHP
   function (?) as mentioned here: [https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/custom-fields/serialized-fields/](https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/custom-fields/serialized-fields/).
 * I hope this isn’t too confused.

 * Hi,
    I’ve found this topic looking for a solution to this exact problem. As mentioned
   by matt, on the backend the form preview has a display:none that hides it, but
   the problem is that on the frontend the form doesn’t show up and is replaced
   by a chunk of commented code that appears to be raw json, and start like this:`
   <!– wp:uagb/gf-styler {“block_id”:”0bf650ef”,”formId”:”2″,”isHtml”:true,”formJson”:{“
   success”:true,”data”:{“html”:”\n \u003cdiv class=’gf_browser_chrome gform_wrapper’
   id=’gform_wrapper_2′ style=’d
 * I’m on last version of wordpress and the plugin.

 * Is there any news on this issue?
    As per my understanding the only way to make
   any video play in safari (both ios and desktop) is by disabling this plugin completely.
 * A partial solution would be maybe to add the possibilty to disable pwa for safari
   or maybe remove videos from service worker caching?
 * Is the issue caused by safari’s range request? (as described/solved here: [https://philna.sh/blog/2018/10/23/service-workers-beware-safaris-range-request/](https://philna.sh/blog/2018/10/23/service-workers-beware-safaris-range-request/))
 * Thanks.

 * Hi wfasa,
    I’ve tried troubleshooting with health check as suggested. But the
   problem is present even if the only active plugin is wordfence, with twentyseventeen
   theme active.
 * So I’ve looked at the .htaccess and it looks like the default wordpress one,
   with just a couple of comment rows from ‘Duplicator plugin’:
 *     ```
       # This file was updated by Duplicator on 2017-09-20 08:38:14. See .htaccess.orig for the original .htaccess file.
       # Please note that other plugins and resources write to this file. If the time-stamp above is different
       # than the current time-stamp on the file system then another resource has updated this file.
       # Duplicator only writes to this file once during the install process while running the installer.php file.

       # BEGIN WordPress
       <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
       RewriteEngine On
       RewriteBase /
       RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
       RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
       RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
       RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
       </IfModule>
       # END WordPress
       ```
 * I don’t have duplicator installed in the other wordpress installation that is
   giving me the same problem.
    I’m contacting my host to try excluding server problems.
 * Thank you.
 * Thank you for the answer and sorry for the late reply.
    I don’t have cache plugins
   installed and have tried clearing the browser cache (and using a different browser)
   with no effect. Do I need to look in other places too to delete cache? I’ve tried
   installing the plugin “WP Admin no cache” that disables browser caching, but
   the problem stays.
 * The same problem has appeared trying to install the plugin in another server
   for another unrelated wp installation (a multisite).
 * Thanks
 * Ok, so, it’s not clear if you work with or for polylang, however to sum it up:
 * I am paying Wpml (aka the competition) to have multilanguage sites because I
   think it’s worth the price, it’s a complete solution and still has not given
   me particular issues.
    I am not paying Polylang pro because I don’t think it’s
   worth the price, pro and free versions have given me many issues and in the free
   version is not a complete solution. My review refers to both versions because
   other than being quite the same software with the same problems, polylang broke
   my websites when I came back from polylang pro.
 * The stars (two, not one, after all) and the review are based on my 3 years experience
   with this plugin, that, in my opinion, is too problematic and too pricy.
 * I do not expect having someone work for me for free, but when I use a free plugin
   I’m not doing that because I do not require free support. ‘Free’ work are the
   hours of work I’ve spent solving issues in the websites and eventually switching
   to another plugin, so the ‘you ask people to work for free’ card can be left
   unused here. Even polylang developer wrote that what you pay is mostly the support,
   not the code. Polylang is also a spot for polylang pro, so the developer has
   a return, it’s not simple beneficence.
 * What am I giving for free? This review. To share my experience and help others.
 * The Coder, you took the time to reply so I’m answering your questions:
    most
   of the issues I’ve had were bugs or things the developer already answered to
   other customers. E.g. cyrillic urls had problems, the plugin is extremely sensible
   to changes in theFor other things, other developers told me they were having
   issues. A developer we hired to create a custom plugin had big issues adapting
   to polylang and told me it was messy, ‘Pods’ plugin developers solved for me
   some of the incompatibilities. Other were due to lack of intercompatibility,
   e.g. revolution slider cannot be translated (it’s not polylang fault, but still
   it’s a problem for me, considered the price). Other times I had the free version,
   which as you know has no support (many free plugin offer support).
 * It’s years I use it so I don’t remember all the issues, but I know that activating
   polylang was always a ‘finger crossed’ moment.
 * If you read again my review, i wrote “For a standard site and in the free version,
   it is a great plugin”. My main complain is not the free version, but the feeling
   of extortion the pro version gives. It’s very pricey, which is undeniable looking
   at the competition (which has much wider compatibility btw). I simply cannot
   offer it to many of our clients. If I go with pro, I feel locked with it, because
   the main benefit is having same-slug between languages, and if you build a website
   that way, downgrading to free beaks the site (I’ve recently discovered that,
   maybe it was an addition to recent versions). Staying with pro without paying
   is a no-no too, last time I tried the site broke just after months. Staying with
   pro should give you support and updates, it shouldn’t be the only option to keep
   your site intact (hence the extortion sensation).
 * I don’t have problems paying the right price for something, but when the price
   is high, I feel I have no other options, the products has not the widest compatibility
   and often gives big headaches, well, I really cannot recommend it.
    The only
   problem is that having already many websites with polylang (setup when pro didn’t
   exist) I cannot pay pro for all of them (they’re more than 25 and some have woocommerce,
   which I guess means the bill would be on the thousands, while competition is
   just over 100), and switching to other options requires a lot of work. Polylang
   seems to be run by just 1 developer, other less pricy options re run by big teams
   so I really cannot understand the big price difference. The support may be excellent,
   but support is a solution to solve problems that already happened. And in my
   experience, with this plugin, problems do happen. I currently have 3 problems
   in my websites, 2 involve polylang. One of those is having pages with same slug
   stop functioning, which is the expected behaviour apparently. The other is that
   changing language always redirects to the homepage, which apparently has no solution
   at the moment (there are open threads about the issue).
 * I hope I answered your questions and gave an explanation on why my review is
   mainly negative.
 * To complete the answer, I needed to add the file management metabox too in editors
   page, not only the post restriction.
 * This code added to the other bit worked for me:
 *     ```
       add_filter('wppcp_file_attachment_setting_meta_box_visibility','wppcp_file_attachment_setting_meta_box_visibility',10,2);
       function wppcp_file_attachment_setting_meta_box_visibility($status,$params){
       return true;
       }
       ```
