One little permission/ownership problem and the WP plugin updater( s) fail. And I mean epic fail. Without clue as to why. So this sort of thing is often difficult to pinpoint. If your host’s DNS servers are slow, then this stage of Bad Behavior will also be slow. * In other words, it’s your web host and there’s not a whole lot I can do about it.
