 * I can confirm what [@antraksa](https://wordpress.org/support/users/antraksa/)
   is reporting. WP 5.0.3 & Email Subscribers 3.5.18. A post notification that has
   been working for years based on publishing a post in a given category now does
   not send. Not even listed in report. However if the post is scheduled then it
   works as expected. At least this is a work around for now.
 * This is a working site so unable to disable all the plugins. In case it helps,
   here is a list used (all up to date):
    – Contact Form 7 – Electric Studio Download
   Counter – Email Subscribers & Newsletters – Event Organiser – NextGEN Gallery–
   Official StatCounter Plugin – Really Simple CAPTCHA – Yoast SEO
