 * Hi [@alinclamba](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alinclamba/) – it happens
   across multiple platforms. I’ve noticed it in the Gmail app on my phone, but 
   also in Gmail on the desktop if I narrow the screen size. My client has noticed
   it in the Apple Mail app on her phone. 
   I can’t see a pattern with the photos
   that this happens to. In another newsletter, one square image rendered normally

   same problem, though it also seems to be happening in the Gmail app. Even in 
   Gmail in a browser, if the screen width gets small enough, the images get distorted.
