Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. I just upgraded my site to 3.5 and now the plugin is working! I’m not sure what changed, but, that file was never getting created before. I would always get a 404 because the file never existed.
I’ll still provide a little more info in case someone else comes across this in the future. The hostname of the install is just an IP address; I just filled in some fake letters. I will eventually use a domain, but, for now I was just using an IP address while I develop.
Also, the media manager was working fine. I uploaded a file and it was created. I created the full directory path and the directory had 777 permissions just to be sure I wasn’t hitting a permissions issue.
I’m not sure what would have changed my experience, but, I’m glad it’s working now.
