 * I am still getting a vertical menu for some reason :S. Will see if playing with
   the CSS works.
 * Thanks for your help Marventus. It’s much appreciated.

 * If you go over to my page The Darkwolf Files, then you can hover over WWE and
   see the stock sub nav menu. You can also use this [screenshot](http://imagebin.org/215662)
   to see it.

 * What I meant is that I haven’t had the chance to try it with a custom nav menu
   yet. I thought it would just change the one that was there by default.
 * Now that my servers are all back up and good to go, I’m going to try this with
   the custom menu’s and will let you know what happens.
 * Thanks for your time on this Marventus. It’s much appreciated.

 * Hi Marventus,
 * When you look at [Theme: Mantra] from it’s first install after adding pages and
   subpages, you will see that it already has a submenu coded into it. What I wanted
   to do was take that submenu, which is already there, and make it horizontal instead
   of vertical.
 * I haven’t got a chance to try out your code yet as I have been dealing with some
   server issues, will let you know when I get it put in though how well it’s working.
 * Thanks you for your time, it is much appreciated, especially since I don’t know
   much about php.

 * Ahh, that’s why it’s not working. I was hoping to just change the default menu’s
   that are created to be horizontal instead of vertical, I get now though.
 * Thank you, will try this out and see how I like it.

 * I’m Marventus, it was rude of me to not say Thank You, and I apologize for that.
   The work was free and I do appreciate it, I’m sorry for my rudnesss.
 * I’m still not able to get it to work however. I will keep working on it to see
   if I can get it to work though.

 * I was hoping as detailed as this is that it would work, however, it’s not working
   at all. Now I just can’t access subpages at all.

 * Sure thing. It’s [The Darkwolf Files](http://www.thedarkwolffiles.net).
 * I haven’t made any customizations really though. Except to the footer. Everything
   else is stock right now.

 * The mantra theme has 4 sidebar widget areas. You have sidebar widget area 1,
   sidebar widget area 2, sidebar 2 widget area 1, etc. You have to make sure your
   content is divided into the appropriate places in the widget area to seperate
   the sidebars.
 * Hope this helps.

 * @liaonheart2308 – you should be able to go to links and simply remove the links.
   After that, they should be gone, if not, let us know.
 * I actually have a question of my own. I’m working with the mantra theme and want
   a horizontal bar type sub-menu for pages, instead of the drop down menu it currently
   has for pages. There are a great many examples of this type of menu, one such
   is [Webhostingtalk](http://www.webhostingtalk.com/)
 * Of course, I would have to make sure it matched my current theme, but that’s
   pretty much what I want, and the closest thing I’ve found is from [Darren Hoyt](http://www.darrenhoyt.com/2008/02/12/creating-two-tiered-conditional-navigation-in-wordpress/)
   but it doesn’t work with my theme and I would personally like to stick with using
   the wp_nav_menu() if possible.
