Actually there’s a third plugin from the same developers as WeForms, called WP User Frontend that might utilise the same jQuery plugin, and the Delete User button is on one of the pages this plugin renders via a shortcode.
If I deactivate that plugin (but not WeForms) the plugin works again.
If I move the delete user button to a blank page, but keep both plugins activated, it won’t work. If I deactivate any of the two others, it will.
So, I might have mislead you, I didn’t realise the other plugin had any effect on the issue.

Hi Ren,
only in the front end, I haven’t tried the back end option.
Deactivating the WeForms plugin resolved the issue.
