Im trying to modify the code so that when it pulls the menu from the master site, it changes all menu links so that they include the multsite name in the link. * So if the master is the root of your domain: wordpress.com/menu-item * and you have a multisite name called “apples” and another called “oranges”? The menus change so that when they are pulled in, they become: * wordpress.com/apples/menu-item wordpress.com/oranges/menu-item * That way, you can alter one main site and the change goes into effect for the entire multisite network. * If you’ve already solved this? And Im not sure why one would say that you can not. * There are DOZENS of plugins that let you customize your URL and they have NOT been banned. YES, there are those who will abuse the function, without question. But simply because there MIGHT be abuse doesnt mean that there WILL be abuse. To say that you cannot do this…is a lot different than saying that you _will not_ do it for whatever your reasoning. * For example, if my url to tweet is SocialAlerts.com/washingtondc/july4thweekend, thats more than 22 chracters and Twitter will shorten it. I’d rather it say Alrts. co/July4thInDC which would make it look better visually (twitter would not shorten it) and redirect it to the original post on my end, a completely legitimate process. YES one could abuse that but that isnt YOUR fault. Thats the wordpress owners fault. And that wouldnt get YOUR program banned…it may get THEIR account banned but not YOURS… * In either event, I’d like you to consider it.
