 * If you go to **Settings -> Data retention** you can change the length of time
   data is kept for – for example set it to 1 year and you’ll only ever store the
   last year’s stats.
 * But maybe that’s not what you mean! If not, let me know – I’d be interested to
   understand what you’d like to be able to do.
 * Thanks,
   Ed

 * Hi, thanks for your review!
 * You can change the length of time stats data is retained for on the settings
   screen. where it will also show you the amount of data stored currently. On uninstall,
   all data is removed.
 * Thanks! Ed

 * Got it – that makes sense. Thank you!

 * I think it’s probably more likely this:
 * **core/LimitLoginAttempts.php:848**
   `if ( $this->get_option('notify_email_after')
   > $this->get_option( 'allowed_lockouts' ) )$this->update_option( 'notify_email_after',
   $this->get_option( 'allowed_lockouts' ) );
 * I was trying to set it to notify me after 5 lockouts, while “N lockouts increase
   lockout time to…” was set at 2. Think I’ve answered my own question there, although
   it’s not immediately obvious why notify_email_after can’t be > allowed_lockouts?

 * Thanks. I think you’re right, I think the “base” language is always assumed to
   be en-US, I just wanted to ask people who know the system better than I do in
   case it was something you can change!

 * Thanks. I’ve read that and it doesn’t answer the question. There’s nothing about
   setting the main/root/base/initial language. Unless the default language of a
   plugin _must be _English? That seems like an odd restriction if so.
