 * I learned from another post that I need to remove the quotes from the id,
    so
   now I have [download-code id=1]. However, now it’s simply a download link that
   works for anyone and there’s no place to enter a code.
 * any suggestions?

 * ID = go to the list of releases and click ‘EDIT’ for one of them.
    The url should
   be something like: Yourwordpressblog.com/admin.php?page=dc-manage-releases&**
   release=2**&action=edit
 * notice the ‘Release=X’. The number where the ‘x’ is, is your release ID.
    maybe
   this can be added to the table of releases in the next update?
