 * Checkmate!
    The issue lays with yet… another plugin I had installed.
 * WP-Block-Admin
    This plugin has no GUI interface. You would need to edit/tweak
   the php file itself to change this condition. I am not in a hurry to concentrate
   in fixing the file but I do know that disabling the plugin, my subscriber can
   access the dashboard (control panel) and also view/update the profile.
 * I hope this post help others with the same issue. Dave?
 * Thanks
    E

 * Dave / doodlebee
 * I have the same exact problem.
    Using my test “subscriber” account in order to
   see my users experience I can see that I cannot access “Site Admin” (control
   panel) nor access my profile page. Any attempt will kick me back to the website
   front page.
 * I have taken a few troubleshooting steps:
    1) Disabled Register Plus plugin.
   Didnt help. 2) Changed the subscriber level to “premium subscriber”. Didnt help.
   3) Checked the wp-admin folder for .htaccess that could be redirecting hits to
   the front page. Not the issue either.
 * Note that as administrator I am able to access my profile page and the control
   panel.
 * Im not really conserned with a subscriber’s access to “Site Admin”/Control Panel
   but I would like for them to be at least able to view and edit their own profile.
 * To answer doodlebee’s question:
    This occurs after the subscriber logs in. Clicking
   on Site Admin or My Profile does not take them to the profile page. It comes
   back to the main page. I can post comments as a subscriber tho.
 * The reason why I want people to subscribe to post is to give me control of who
   is posting and avoiding any unwelcomed comments.
 * Back to the roots of the issue… I really would like my subs to be able to view
   their profile given the option exists.
    Not sure if is a permissions issue or
   what. Any help will be welcomed.
 * Ed
