I’m unable to type in either regular settings or advanced settings tabs, like where it asks for your social media pages or your twitter handle. The boxes act disabled and I cannot even click in them to type.
Installing your update resolved the counter issue, like you suggested in your first reply. 🙂 The new issues- I posted separately, about being able to type in boxes, and there’s antoher thing I’ll also post separately about.
I’ve just installed the updated version, but I don’t see more social media network choices. How do we add more?
Just completed the update, and the off counter option is now working. Thanks. Having issues being unable to type in the settings boxes now, but I’ll make a new post for that.

After trying everything else I could think of, I once again tried adjusting the padding, this time, making it about 25. Finally, I could see a tiny bit of space between the words and the edge of the box (where the color ends). I’ve never had to use such a high # on padding before to see what seems to be a very tiny difference.
It explains why setting it to 5, 15, and 20 appeared to make no difference.

In reply to: [WpF Authority] unable to add blog widgetsUPDATE 2: Alright, now they will show up if they are in the regular Sidebar sidebar versus the Page sidebar. However, I had already tried that before the first update, above. Also, that sidebar wasn’t there before the theme update yesterday.
So, for anyone else having this problem that even Jetpack’s widget visibility didn’t fix, then just try adding them to the regular sidebar that is available on the latest version of the WPFreeware theme. Note that it may take you a few tries to get it to work.

In reply to: [WpF Authority] unable to add blog widgetsUPDATE: Before yesterday’s theme update for this theme, it said Add widgets in the blog & post sidebar areas, but would not display the ones I added. There was a sidebar for Blog (or posts) page in the back-end widgets screen. After the update, there’s a blank space/rectangle on the blog and posts pages but it no longer says add widgets. It is noticeable though, especially when using a colored background, and it still won’t let me add widgets to that space. Please advise.

UPDATE 3:
The copyright is resolved and displaying on all pages, though it’s never been centered. How can I center it?The footer credits are still only displaying on the frontpage, and I still need them to show on all pages.

In reply to: [Customizr] remove 3 bar menu icon/button from desktop versionUPDATE: It turns out, it was the Customizr child theme. I have no idea why, but thanks to a tip from Jeremy, I tried switching to the main Customizr theme, and the 3 bar button icon was gone.
So, to resolve this issue, I:
– uninstalled the Customizr child theme
– then reinstalled it and tested it. It worked, so I activated the Customizr Child themeForum: Themes and Templates

Thank you for your tip. Unfortunately, that’s not my issue. I can see my regular, horizontal, correct menu, but I also see the 3 bar button over to the right, that looks like a responsive menu. I want that button gone, as it shouldn’t even be there at all. What’s worse is that nothing happens when clicking it.
