In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] page templates- full width for frontpageThanks, codemovement.pk. I ended up hiding the homepage sidebar with a plugin, but I might update it with the code you just gave me. 🙂
UPDATE:
For #1, you can add some code. Saw this in a dif. post…header#masthead {
padding-top: 0;

In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] Footer at main page (last posts)Is your frontpage set up to show only post excerpts? If so, that might be why. Maybe try having the full post display for each post.
Hi there, That’s not Twenty Sixteen. You are using Tonal theme. Here’s the support page link: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/tonal

In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] Hide right sidebar on selected pageolalindberg, what CSS did you use to resolve this?
For #1, I think I saw another post with some code to add to the header section of a child theme.
For #2, I just guessed, and tried an experiment, which seems to have worked.
Go to Appearance> Menus. Then, make a new menu. I called mine Connect. Make sure you select/put a check mark in the social links menu. Now, add a custom menu to it. Then, try out a link. For starters, add the url for your fb page, and call it facebook. Then, safe your menu. After it’s saved, take a look at your site. A nice, elegant fb logo appeared on the bottom, right side of my page. So, I’m assuming the same is true for twitter and other social icons.

In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] Parallax ScrollingFabio,
I’m wondering if you might be able to do it with a parallax plugin, but this theme is pretty basic, so I’m not sure if it would work.
Hi DoubleOhDave,
For #2, I would recommend Hide Title. It’s what I’m using now. Title Remover could be used instead of Hide Title.
For #1, I’m eagerly awaiting responses, ’cause I need to know how to remove that extra space, too. I was thinking it was for a header, and w/o one, there should be some way to move that whole page up, like you said.
For #3, though I have not yet uploaded a logo, I can guess what is going on there. Your logo is a link to your homepage, so just adjust your link color (and other colors as necessary) in the customizer. No CSS changes are needed for this one.

In reply to: [WpF Authority] add social media icons to footerHi,
This issue is not resolved yet.
I had already changed that line, thanks to you recommending it on another post. I have the options in customizer. There are only a few social network choices though. I want to add more social media links than the ones you have. How can I do that?
I’ve done that, but all of the same settings were some how saved in the uninstall/reinstall process, even though I told it to delete all files.
I would give you logon info, if needbe, but this is happening on multiple sites, despite your latest update from sat.
It’s happening on more than one website. Yes, your plugin is activated on both. Here’s a screenshot. The boxes, where I should be able to type, do not allow me to click, or type, in them.
