In your wp-config.php file, did you set filesystem write method? I have set permissions based on the WordPress recommendations, but with the update to 4.8.3 I tried a few times and each time it would give me a file that wouldn’t allow the update to succeed. After changing permissions on those culprit files the update went through. However, with 4.9, as you can see from my original post, the error is citing every file. And then I went and unchecked the ones I had unchecked before (Mega menu, Sidr, Lightbox, and full screen mobile) and it works fine. Maybe something else is going on behind the scenes? I tried saving the scripts & styles in theme panel and clearing cache like last time, but this time it’s not resolving the issue. Any other ideas? I have found the culprit: Ocean Extra plugin.
