I enabled the opt-out function in the general settings and now the checkbox to exclude a block from a post – like on the aforementioned screenshot 3 – is visible. * Sorry for this, but one part of my inital questions remains: Can I allocate a certain repeatable block to only appear in posts of a certain category? I reverted everything I tried so far and only left those things actived that were posted in this thread, so the mu plugin and the two scripts in the script center (leaflet-core.js, leaflet-addons.js). I added and updated your suggestions and the map is blocked now, which leads to another problem unfortunately: The marker list that was previously displayed under the map, now floats onto the top of the blocked container until cookie consent is given. :X * I think the functions of the marker list table under the map have to be blocked too? After installing around 20 plugins for a slideshow widget I was really happy, that I finally came across a good looking and working one. * However, on the Internet Explorer (and also on some smartphone browsers I tested) a login-window appears, that asks the viewer to log in. * I embedded the slideshow as a Widget, which appears on every site except the mainpage. So everytime a viewer opens a page that is not the mainpage, he gets prompted to log in. * Oviously I don’t want every viewer to login, so I went on investigating this problem, because it didn’t occur on my testing blog. After checking the slideshow. php-file, I recognized that the plugin seems to refer to some admin-scripts/functions( correct me plese, if my assumptions are wrong). * So I compared the wp-admin-folder on my live blog and my testing blog. I found out, that the log in windows appears, because of an .htaccess-file in the wp- admin-folder, which I use to prohibit access to the wp-login.php-file and therefore the backend of wordpress. * **Long story short: **I would really love to see a workaround, because I don’t like to stop protecting the wp-admin-folder only for one plugin while accepting security risks. * I’m really curious, if there is a fix, because it never happened to me before, that a plugin causes problems due to a protected wp-login-file. * Hoping for help 🙂 Thanks in advance!
