 * [@amsamuels](https://wordpress.org/support/users/amsamuels/) would you please
   post how you fixed it? I’m having the same problem, and I’m not seeing specifically
   what to change in the codex. It’s just preview that’s not working for me. Thanks.

 * Okay, I tried doing this today; I copied the index.php and .htaccess files to
   the root, and edited the index.php.
 * Here’s my problem: if I set the general settings for the wordpress address to/
   wordpress, and the site address to the root domain, it thinks the root domain
   is my blog and /wordpress doesn’t work. Also, my permalink structure drops the/
   wordpress and goes straight to postname (yes, I know I need to fix that to add
   a date field). I can’t see how to fix this.
 * If I keep both the wordpress and site addresses to /wordpress I can get the blog
   to work and the permalink structure to work. But typing in my domain name in
   the address bar then sends me to the blog. I can get the dulceyheller.com/about
   and /gallery links to work with these settings. What do I need to change?

 * Thank you, Dulcey
