 * thanks benz
 * I downloaded the whole public_html folder with all the wordpress content via
   ftp from the old domain and I downloaded the .sql via cpanel.
 * Then I uploaded the public_html folder to the new domain via ftp. Created a new
   database and edited the config file to suit, edited the urls in the .sql, uploaded
   the config file. and finally imported the .sql file into my new database.
 * The theme is working, all my text and posts are there. The things missing are
   most of the home page, images and the footer. Looks like a theme/plugin issue.
 * Would using one of the backup/transfer wordpress plugins be a better way of transferring
   instead of just copying everything via FTP?
 * Thanks heaps
