If this is not an option for you, we could add a setting to the WordPress plugin, so you could select post/page types you want to index. Which “functions.php” do you mean? There is none in the plugin. However, if there is no recipe found (no shortcodes), nothing will happen so you don’t have to separate post and recipe.
