If you have other forms on your website that are not connected to “Email Before Download” are you able to submit those successfully (using the same contact form plugin CF7) without any error messages? * Below is one of the biggest and most common error fixes within Email Before Download. * With email before download and recent wordpress updates, the email field in contact form 7 MUST BE **your-email** or else it will not work. * In your wordpress dashboard settings > General – your WordPress Address and Site Address MUST BE all lowercase. I have no idea why but this seemed to fix issues for some. * Let me know if you can submit a regular contact form on your site with out email before download associated with it first. I too am still encountering this issue but for now I have built my own custom form, looped it through Download Monitor and all is well. If some of you need help around this (until there is a fix), I may be able to help you out with my solution for now. Once the user completes the form and clicks download, EBD does it’s job in displaying the ajax download URL for the user to download, but once clicked, it sends the user to a blank page with the “Object Moved” message along with the long tail URL as mentioned throughout these posts: (/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php?dl=28a23c596931898900933729ceeccbbb). As mentioned above, we are also not using Mail Chimp with our theme and encountering the same errors (**/wp-content/plugins/ email-before-download/download.php?dl=28a23c596931898900933729ceeccbbb**). * I have two versions of our site running, one Live and one Staging.
