 * CLS – somebody else I mentioned Cumulative Layout Shift. Dunno what that means
   but I guess I’m going to find out.
 * That image that loads with the header/logo, the files is 200x200px [@72dpi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/72dpi/)…
   but it’s only displaying 100x100px. Should I reconfigure that file to 100×100
   and reduce the image quality. What’s a good file size for that kind of image?

 * OK, my bad, you can disregard the previous.
 * Being OCD – and unable to rest until the obstacle in front of me is cleared –
   I took the step recommended in the second part of [@mariustar](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mariustar/)‘
   s reply and… sure enough, enabling user avatars in the ‘discussion’ settings
   solved the problem. That activated the Gravatar / Profile Picture option in my
   User Profile.
 * I tried to delete the two previous messages but apparently this system doesn’t
   permit that. So I will just make this one as ‘resolved.’
 * Thanks,

 * Also: I just checked my Gravatar account, and the Primary Email Address for that
   account is the same for the WordPress Admin account that does not allow me to
   create the Profile Pic.
 * So the mystery persists.

 * Thank you for this reply, but how will opening a Gravatar account solve my problem?
   Because, you see, I already have a Gravatar account. That is how I set the avatar
   for my other WordPress installations.
 * The problem remains that in the User Admin / Profile settings, I do not have
   the option to to add a ‘Profile Picture’ by _any_ means – Gravatar or otherwise.
   As you can see from the screenshot attached to my first post, the option just
   does not exist where it should be.
 * I thought for a second about following the second part of your reply, until I
   read “you can configure avatar options for your users as well.” That’s not what
   I’m trying to do here, I am trying to create an avatar for my silly self.
 * So the original question remains, “why doesn’t the ‘Profile Picture’ option appear
   in the Edit Profile section?” and is there anything I can do to restore it?
 * Thanks,

 * That’s some sage counsel there. I appreciate your taking the time to dive into
   the code and disabuse me of my misconception re: the source of the wonky ratio.
   I think I’ll just mark this one ‘resolved’ and move on to the next dilemma….

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * I kinda know that the code is coming from the theme. I’m using the Astra theme,
   and the posts I create with it are clean and none show up in the HTML:TEXT ratio
   warnings.
 * The problem near as I can tell is that all the posts that do show up in those
   warnings are really old and created with Typepad, and I think that is the source
   of the undesirable ratio, either directly from Typepad or as a consequence of
   the conversation to WordPress. Durned I know.
 * It occurs to me that I _could_ take the content from the original posts – without
   any of the underlying code – and recreate the posts inside of just Astra, but
   that would be a lot of work on a lot of posts of limited current value when all
   I’m trying to do is improve the ‘Site Health’ number.
 * Which, unfortunately, is precisely the kind of ‘busy’ work I tend to do instead
   of ‘real’ work…. 🤦🏻‍♂️
 * Thanks,

 * Hello, anybody still there?
 * Due to another problem I created for myself, I had to deactivate all the plugins
   in my WP install.
 * The first one I activated is the ‘Classic Editor’ — and discovered that the problem
   persists. When I reach the bottom of the editor window, the tool bar scrolls
   up off the screen.
 * Wondering if this was a common occurrence, I opened the Classic Editor for another
   site, an discovered… why, yes, the same thing happens. When I get to the bottom
   of a post, the tool bar at the top scrolls out of sight.
 * So, back my original question: is there some way to ‘Anchor’ the tool bar, so
   that it’s always there, even when I get to the bottom of the editor window?
 * Thanks,

 * Alas, it seems I spoke to soon.
 * The toolbar stays locked….
 * …until I get to the bottom of the text/edit window…
 * …THEN the whole page scrolls up and takes the toolbar with it.
 * I have a total of 19 plugins at the moment (yes, some I could do without and
   might just as well delete). When I find a window when that seems like the best
   use of my time, I’ll unplug ’em all and and see if I can find the culprit.
 * Unless, maybe…. something else could be causing the issue? Beats me.
 * Thanks,

 * Thank you for steering me in the right direction.
 * I was reluctant to deactive all the plugins, but just now I was looking at the
   Plugins page and noticed I’d recently added
 * Advanced Editor Tools (previously TinyMCE Advanced)
 * … in order to add sub-and-superscript characters to a post.
 * I deactivated just that one plugin and… voila, the toolbar stays put.
 * I might fuss with the settings in the plugin, but probably not until I need sub/
   supscript characters. I’ll probably just leave it deactivated till then.

 * That appears to be the case, though I did find a plugin that did the trick a
   couple of weeks ago (couldn’t find the same plugin this time and already forgot
   what it was called).
 * I did contact my Host, and they modified whatever .php file it is that put set
   that limit. I got my plugin uploaded and shouldn’t have that problem again.
 * BTW, my host is Knownhost, and their support is outstanding.

 * I just did another audit, and while I still have a lot of “errors” to sort out,
   it actually appears that NONE of them are “issues with broken internal JavaScript
   and CSS files.”
 * I wish the rest of this site-resurrection was that easy!
