On what are you basing your statement that it’s better SEO-wise to only use one H1 per page?
Please don’t worry, I just quoted an individual named Yoast.
When was the last time you did some research to see if your long-held notions of what makes for “good SEO” are outdated?
Yesterday, the day before yesterday, last week, two weeks ago etc.
I look forward to a day when site owners are focused on creating quality relevant content of interest instead …
That’s exacty what I’m focused on as a site owner. I’d like people to be able to find the content that might be relevant to their interest.
Have a nice Sunday!
Of course it would be better. For SEO-reasons “h1” should appear only once on a page – i. e. “h1” for the page-title rather than for the blog-title or widget-titles. What’s this special page about? About widgets? I’ve been using WordPress for three and a half years now and I never ever found one single theme that did this job correctly, i. e. SEO-friendly.
