You might be getting blocked by your host. Many web hosts have begun blocking remote SMTP connections. When that happens, it means your site will be unable to connect to any SMTP servers. * Check with your host to see if they are blocking remote SMTP connections. If they are, they’ll need to make an exception for your account. If they’re unwilling to do that, you likely would need to either connect to their SMTP server, or use one of the mailer connections we support (SendLayer, Brevo, SMTP.com, etc). Those additional mailers get around this type of issue by connection directly to the service via an API. * If they’re not blocking remote connections, we’ll need to know more, such as which service you’re trying to connect to. * I hope that helps! If I understand correctly, you tried to send to one address and the email never made it, but when you tried sending to another, it did go through. Is that correct? * If so, check your Transactional log in Brevo. If the email made it to their servers and bounced or failed to be sent, there should be a record of it in the log.
