 * Many thanks for the replies- I do NOT think the plugin is the cause of any spam.
   I am amazed at how effectively these spam registrations get around any anti-bot
   tools. the common factor is all 3 different themes-sites are hosted by the same
   service….or there are a lot of humans doing ‘bot’ work–what a waste of everyone’s
   time.
