I did have to change the general settings back to run from the /n directory as my client is updating the content.

I’m having the same issue. I installed WP into a directory named n. I follow the directions in the codex for doing this several times in the past with no problems. This is the first time using 3.7and I can not get it to work correctly. What changed?
ANother Hoorah! for MissDeja’s contribution. This has been the only way I’ve been able to get it to work as well. Crazy that it was this much effort to get something to do what you’d think it should do already!
