 * ok cool at least i know the direction i need to look in thank you, do you know
   of any templates or things i could do that would lead me to more customizable
   options?

    id rather
   the whats new box go all the way to the right ware the subscribe box ends and
   take up that hole front, then under that id put two boxes side by side

 * thanks, i have my pages set up but i just dont like the layout of each box for
   the pages, id much rather ditch the side boxes on the home page and inlarge the
   main box for more of a welcome entrance tryp deal and then under that id put 
   2 boxes.. any idea?
