They also suggested to check the CHMOD-permissions, but all folders on 755 and files on 644 seemed correct too. They didn’t answer anythign about the “CORS”-error warning, which I think is the core of the problem… * I have tried to enable CORS in the headers via .htaccess and didn’t work either. * I have now spent more then 6 hours trying all standard solutions proposed in this forum and none worked. I never encountered so many problems with basic functions but maybe it has to do with some server setting of the provider? * Sadyl, the provider doesn’t offer the option for “staging-version” and my client refuses to let the website visible during devellopment.
