 * where the save as type is- what do I put there. Its a drop down box .
    So you
   are saying in the file name box, I enter functions.php.?

 * Thanks for responding so quickly. I got the first part. Just don,t know how to
   create a php file and add functions in that file. I need a step by step guide.

   I am thinking of giving up on Twenty eleven even with the child theme, I hate
   that Black bar, If I change will I loose what I have on there now.
