 * Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I played around with that a little
but it’s not right for me. Seems more orientated around having “members only”
viewable content rather than content open to all that, but initial posting can
only be started by low ranked roles in a single category.
 * Using this method with my setup causes confusion as when you log in, you can
no longer see many of the categories (you expect signing up/logging in to see
more, not less!). Of course, it does restrict the roles you can see to post to,
but the byproduct of lots of categories disappearing from the front-end is too
   bizarre.

 * Sorry for looking dim, but I have the latest version of the plugin and I don’t
see the text you quote? Did you mistakenly post a URL to a different but very
similarly named plaugin?! I’m a bit boggled.

 * Thanks for the response Michael. Unfortunately that doesn’t work quite the way
I need it to. I should have mentioned that my aim is that visitors can see all
categories, and subscribers can only post to a single category.
 * The idea is that admins write in news categories, and casual visitors have their
own “chatter” category – they can comment anywhere, but start their own post
   only in this one.
 * Am I asking for the impossible?

 * I’ve done some browser testing and the problem with paragraph tags not being
displayed is the same in IE6, IE7, Firefox Mac and Safari Mac. I guess the solution
is not to switch between Visual and HTML editors.
 * I’m still not sure why it’s adding spaces though!

 * Just adding to this. If I select, from the PAGES section, a page and click EDIT,
the page opens with the HTML editor open showing paragraph tags, but if I click
the Visual Editor tab, and then the HTML tab, then they are gone.
 * I guess I’m seeing this because I’m copying code from an old site in HTML, then
switching to the Visual Editor. It shouldn’t mess with the code like that!

 * Oh, no problem. I agree with you in the main. I’ve never thought it appropriate
   before either.

 * The site is for a friend whose young daughter died of leukemia at the age of
   6. She wanted to chose the music for her funeral and we thought it was fitting
to honour that by adding it to the website, which is a memorial for her, and
will be visited by friends and family.
 * Making a case that music on a website is never appropriate assumes that no-one
ever has a good reason to do it. I’m not really bothered if a few visitors don’t
like the music, I don’t much care for the choice myself, but in this case, it
   simply has to be there.

 * OK – thanks but I’m not really interested in building a flash site, it’s for
   a WordPress installation.
 * I just want to have background music, to set the mood.
 * I realise I’m probably going to just have to “try it”, just wondered if there
was anyone else had done so and could offer some helpful advice before I go for
   it.
