 * Franky,
I logged in to add a new feature request and no where on that link site
can I find out where to submit a new feature request. Thanks

 * Franky,
I’d like to donate to have a feature added so I can continue with EME
updates. If you are willing, please quote me a cost and time frame to add a description
field for categories in addition to the current name field.
 * What I’m trying to do might help explain. When we enter events we have short
codes for our event categories. I use the events front end and have created my
own form to enter events and would like to setup a choice list for categories
using our short codes (new description field).
I’m open to any other suggestion
you have to accomplish this task. Thanks! David Krasko

 * Everything is working now. I did two things to resolve. I added the timezone
lines to the header to fix the day light savings time issue. Second, a plugin“
SEO Redirection” caused two blank lines at the top of the feed (this issue was
only a problem with Google calendars.). As usual, you have been a great help
and another donation is coming soon.

 * Under General Settings I have set Time zone to Los Angeles, do you suggest differently?
 * Here is the results of an ics I wrote for myself that supports timezone and day

2014\, the Imperial Irrigation District (IID) filed a Petition for Change seeking

from Imperial Irrigation District to San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA)\,
Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) and Metropolitan Water District of Southern
California (MWD)\, to the State Water Board. As discussed below under “Issues
for Discussion at Workshop\,” the scheduling of this workshop does not reflect
a conclusion that changes to Revised Order WRO 2002-0013 would be an appropriate
way to address issues concerning restoration of the Salton Sea. However\, the
receipt of the petition reignited discussions regarding the impending December
31\, 2017 date at which time the requirement established by Order WRO 2002-0013
for IID to deliver a specific quantity of water to mitigate the effects of the
transfer on the Salton Sea will end. It is expected that the loss of that mitigation
water will accelerate the contraction of the Salton Sea\, resulting in the exposure
of an extensive playa with fine particles that may cause significant public health
impacts to surrounding communities\, and accelerating the rate at which the Salton
Sea becomes a highly saline environment\, unable to support a viable fishery

quantity of water to mitigate the effects of the transfer on the Salton Sea will
end. It is expected that the loss of that mitigation water will accelerate the
contraction of the Salton Sea\, resulting in the exposure of an extensive playa
with fine particles that may cause significant public health impacts to surrounding
communities\, and accelerating the rate at which the Salton Sea becomes a highly
saline environment\, unable to support a viable fishery and fish-eating birds.

 * One last question, for the extra_condition to work, does the user have to be
logged in? I was planning on using it with the ical feed.
    I currently have the
link working using a sql statement and a separate set of functions to filter
the feed. If the user does not have to be logged in to use the extra_condition,
it would be much more elegant to use.

 * Franky,
You may want to put the link here to validate: [http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/](http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/)
 * The results for both the feed and saved .ics file from eme have two blank lines
at the begining that may be causing trouble.

 * After reading more, I think the **eme_event_list_filter** will work for me as
long as it works the way I understand it.
Lets say I have a page ‘myevents’
with any of these shortcodes and with any of the current parameters offered.
 * [eme_events scope=all limit=0 , template_id=2]
    [eme_calendar full=1]
 * If my function using eme_event_list only returns success if the eventID is successful(
eventID is in my list of IDs to show), with a little coding I can accomplish
showing only Events on the page(s) from a list of EventIDs i check against?

 * Would this filter effect only list views of events or would it also effect ical
   feeds and month calendar views?
 * eme_event_list_filter (1 parameter: array of events, return value should be modified
   array)
 * Forgive me, I’m doing a lot of reading on WordPress plugins trying to come up
to speed. Maybe you can tell me if I’m going down the wrong road. Using the above
filter in my custom php, would I be able to accomplish my last post (FOLLOW/NOT
INTERESTED) by using eme_event_list_filter with an array of event IDs?

 * I want to turn off the RSVP for my events and replace each event with a “FOLLOW”
or “NOT INTERESTED” button. I was then going to keep track of the user’s choice
for each event in a table. So I would be able to get a list of eventid(s) a user
chose “FOLLOW” or “NOT INTERESTED” and build filters and conditions like you
do as follows for category ID only use “event ID”
 * category limits the events shown to those of a certain category ID. You can also
use OR and AND for multiple categories: “1,3” (category 1 OR 3) or “1+3″ (category
   1 AND 3)
 * I want to be able to show for my staff what events they are following, or a list
of what they are not interested in. Also use the same filter on a calendar feeds.
 * I can write up a detail of what I would like in a plug in if you are interested
in writing a plugin for me. More $$ for the shelter and coffee. haha
    Thanks
