 * Thanks, I did find that same article you shared and adjusted the JSON in the
   CORS settings for the bucket.
 * The file uploads correctly, and the link to the file is correct, but when I save
   the post the stored value disappears. [Here’s a link to a screenshot.](https://www.dropbox.com/s/axxctgnrjcp4l65/2021-02-25_09-10-20.gif?dl=0)
 * Thank you!

 * Follow up, it seems that the file uploads and I can view the file via the link
   that it generates, but when I save the post/page, that value is not saved.

 * Thanks so much [@hcabrera](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hcabrera/). I
   had just found your how-to post from a few years ago ([https://wordpress.org/support/topic/updating-the-views-count-via-ajax/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/updating-the-views-count-via-ajax/))
   and that implementation is working well now — but I might switch to this method
   if it’s the preferred way of doing things.
 * Thanks for the excellent support. I’ve been through many of the other forum posts
   and github issues and can see how active you are. I’m amazed that this plugin
   is free, considering how robust it appears to be. Great job!

 * [@sormano](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sormano/)
 * Just a quick update. I was able to do this successfully, but I thought I’d make
   a feature request for you to consider. It would be nice to be able to both detect
   sale items easily in the Loop and also be able to filter downloads to show only“
   on sale” items.
 * It seems that the simplest solution would be to add a basic boolean custom field
   like “on_sale” that can be set on `save_post`. I may end up hooking into WP and
   adding that to my theme on my own, but it would be really convenient if it were
   added to the plugin itself.
 * Thanks for creating the plugin — it works very well!

 * Actually, I may have spoken too soon. I assumed, from several other posts on
   the plugin support page, that this was no longer working. However, on WP 4.7.4,
   it appears to be working as expected for me…

 * +1 For this! It’s a great plugin, and I’m surprised it hasn’t been updated for
   so long. I’d pay for it as well.

 * +1, Agreed. Love the plugin, but not sure why anything on the front end would/
   should be affected.

 * For anyone who may find this, apparently Search Everything does not work for
   AJAX requests, at least when you’re doing them the correct way through WordPress
   and using the “admin-ajax.php” url. I was able to get around it by setting the
   AJAX url directly to the PHP script in my theme.
 * It works fine now, but again, it’s not the way you’re supposed to manage AJAX
   calls in WP.
 * I couldn’t believe this issue hasn’t come up before… Seems like it would be fairly
   common.

 * Hi alesub,
 * I just ran into this same bug, and have been scouring the internet for a fix
   or alternate method. I was wondering if you’d found a workaround or solution
   to this? I see your post was several months ago and there aren’t any answers…
   maybe I shouldn’t be too hopeful.
 * Thank you!

 * Thanks, Nick. Simple Calendar is a bit different than I was used to with GCE,
   but overall, it’s much cleaner and more user-friendly. Props to your dev team.
 * [@philthebass](https://wordpress.org/support/users/philthebass/):
 * My work-around was pretty simple. I just disabled Google Analyticator temporarily
   and edited my widgets as normal. Then when finished I turned GA back on. It’s
   not an ideal solution, but it was quick and easy.

 * My bad. There is apparently some conflict between Simple Calendar and Google
   Analyticator. I disabled GA for now and we’re back in business.
 * However, we need to use both plugins.

 * Just echoing the “thank you” sentiment!
 * Maybe we should start some kind of petition on the ACF site to get this added
   in. As with pretty much everything in ACF, the Repeater is awesome… but the user
   experience can be SO cumbersome without this plugin!

 * No problem, Mark. Thanks for actively working on this plugin. I really wish Elliot
   would incorporate this into the ACF core!
