To clarify, do you mean the top level menu as in the toolbar that appears at the top of admin pages? If so, I’m not seeing it there. After all these were removed, my issues with both Contact Form 7 and All In One Event Calendar are resolved. * Hope this helps! Any action that triggers a refresh isn’t completing unless the page is manually refreshed. It was working, once upon a time. * I don’t see jQuery being loaded twice. Contact Form 7 is also exhibiting similar behavior. Forms do not display a confirmation message, the wheel keeps spinning, but emails are sending. * Disabling all plugins except for either ai1ec and/or CF7 yields no improvement. Disabling all plugins and switching to Twenty Eleven and the base Twenty Twelve themes yields the same spinning icon. I receive the emails, but the confirmation message is never displayed to the user. * It apparently is a jQuery issue and one that’s also affecting the All In One Event Calendar (ai1ec) plugin, as well. There, clicking a button to change a view just spins and spins.
