 * It appears you can remove them by clicking the box to the far right of the WooCommerce
Checkout Manager main billing screen under the X.

 * I saw this on another thread
 * [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-hide-items?replies=3](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-hide-items?replies=3)
 * But there really should be a way to hide them in the plugin.

 * Thanks for the tip on the variable product.
 * What I have decided to do was create a downloadable voucher for the user to bring
to a location to redeem it for the items they get at their membership level.
We are a nonprofit and don’t want to add the overhead of shipping. Plus this
way people can try on the tee shirt for size and not worry about returning it
   etc.
 * Low tech solutions sometimes are the best 🙂

 * Brian – when your users bought things did it populate using the IPN (assuming
you’re using PayPal)? I am not so concerned with the email stuff, more interested
in the payments being registered properly.

 * I went through all of the files and made the similar changes. The event still
allows registration and things seem to still work; however, the payments still
aren’t registering in the system like they did.

 * I implemented the fix and it seems to work; however, people paying online with
paypal don’t auto register their payments in the system like they used to.
 * Is it just a matter of basically going through all of the files in the payments
directory and making a similar change?

 * I called Godaddy and they said that in the WP-Content directory there was an
install.php file that was causing the problem. They removed it and now that error
went away. However – I never saw that file there so who knows what they really
   did.
