 * I have had other problems that I think are related to permissions. e.g. inability
   to upload with either the flash or browser, or create thumbnails. That’s a whole
   other problem. I need to address permissions in some universal fashion for my
   gallery folder and subfolders.

 * nothing has worked so far. Tried clearing my local cache, wp super cache is off…

 * Additionally, clicking on any of the galleries in the album view only brings 
   me back to the same album page.
