Tried the WordPress Default theme, at least > temporarily? * To be perfectly honest, I have too much else to do in my life than troubleshoot a WordPress upgrade. Reading the posts here and elsewhere, it seems like WP delivered a lemon, regardless of themes. So when you’ve got a better pony to trot out, I’ll take a look. Yes, deactivated plugins. After manual upgrade, I get this error message: * > Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in /usr/www/users/dhurst/englishandmore/ > blog/wp-includes/default-widgets.php on line 15 * Previous error messages have been different, but they all reference missing classes in either wp-admin or wp-includes and tell me on what line the failure occurred. One previous message had to do with Class ‘Translations’ not found and I reuploaded the specified php file, but then I got another fatal error message and so on. I’m following the procedures, but something isn’t working. It didn’t, so I started over with a manual upgrade. I had not updated my albums in a couple months, but when I tried today, I couldn’t drag/drop into albums. As I’ve been testing other plugins, i noticed my Lighter Menus and Lightbox plugins don’t work properly either. Otherwise, I didn’t even notice it. Thanks. That page goes away in the blink of an eye and I’m left with a page that says Gallery Settings and all I can do is sort the gallery, add watermarks, and resize thumbnails–no global options are available. * I don’t know why that one page only shows for a moment. It must be the Word formatting. That was a post that I pasted from Word using the Paste feature in WordPress, the only one I’ve done like that.
