 * Just revamped my website and upgraded a lot of plugins in the process. I am getting
the error described in this feed and it appears the plugin owner has yet to fix
the problem? I can find no recent entries.

 * To be perfectly honest, I have too much else to do in my life than troubleshoot
a WordPress upgrade. Reading the posts here and elsewhere, it seems like WP delivered
a lemon, regardless of themes. So when you’ve got a better pony to trot out,
I’ll take a look. Until then, I’ll go on with life.

 * Just tried again, following procedures. Yes, deactivated plugins. After manual
upgrade, I get this error message:
 * > Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in /usr/www/users/dhurst/englishandmore/
   > blog/wp-includes/default-widgets.php on line 15
 * Previous error messages have been different, but they all reference missing
classes in either wp-admin or wp-includes and tell me on what line the failure
occurred. One previous message had to do with Class ‘Translations’ not found
and I reuploaded the specified php file, but then I got another fatal error message
and so on. I’m following the procedures, but something isn’t working. I’ve been
with WordPress for several years adn none of my upgrades have been this difficult.

 * I follow those procedures each time, but this time I tried the Automatic Upgrade,
just to see if it would work. It didn’t, so I started over with a manual upgrade.
That didn’t work either–in fact that’s when I got the error messages (the Auto
Upgrade didn’t even get as far as giving me errors–it froze halfway through).

 * I am suddenly having this problem too. I had not updated my albums in a couple
months, but when I tried today, I couldn’t drag/drop into albums. As I’ve been
testing other plugins, i noticed my Lighter Menus and Lightbox plugins don’t
work properly either. I just upgraded to 2.65, so maybe that’s it?

 * I’d recommend [Yet Another Photoblog](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yet-another-photoblog/)—
the previous post is good, but you have to upload an image in your content.

 * watershedstudio: I had the same problem and your fix worked. Thanks! Hope the
   nest version fixes this problem.

 * Okay, I figured it out–apparently the arrow next to Gallery Settings is a dropdown
list–and it was briefly appearing when the page opened. Otherwise, I didn’t even
notice it. Thanks. Love the plugin, by the way!

 * Okay, when I click the edit link on a gallery, there is a page that shows so
briefly I cannot see what is on it, except I caught the words “preview image”
or some such. That page goes away in the blink of an eye and I’m left with a
page that says Gallery Settings and all I can do is sort the gallery, add watermarks,
and resize thumbnails–no global options are available.
 * I don’t know why that one page only shows for a moment. My guess is that the
editing features I’m looking for are there.
 * I’m using Firefox 3.0 and WP 2.6.

 * When I redid the post, I changed the Word file to a .txt file and then copied
back to the post using Crimson Editor. It must be the Word formatting. I’ll try
the html trick if I ever have to do it again.

 * I deleted the post with the odd <!–[endif]–> and the problem went away. That
was a post that I pasted from Word using the Paste feature in WordPress, the
only one I’ve done like that. Could there be a bug in that feature (or, more
   accurately, problems with Word)?
