 * Same here. This issue appeared with an auto update to Matomo 5.3.2 and crashed
   my sites.

 * Hello, I have received this error as well, which may be related:
   WordPress version
   6.1.1Active theme: BuddyBoss Theme (version 2.2.5)Current plugin: BP Registration
   Options (version 4.4.3)PHP version 8.0.27I also see some errors in the logs which
   may be related.On this site, it seems to have increased registrations since the
   update a few days ago, which are spam.

 * One more thing, the same issue is happening to the Video User Manual plugin:/
   wp-admin/admin.php?page=vum-options
   I see “Sorry, you are not allowed to access
   this page.”

   Thank you very much. That resolved my issue!I am still determining why this 
   occurred. As you said, the settings menu should still be reachable by URL. My
   sites have many membership plugins, as they are LMS websites. Could a plugin 
   conflict cause this?

 * Hi There, Sorry this is still happening on the site. There’s nothing special 
   inserted into the Description fields, just basic text (No code).
 * I’ll try raising with the developer and see if they can provide more tips to 
   solve it.
