 * Thanks for info. The option should probably be hidden/removed then.

    1. Warnings flying globally all over the site are a concern.
    2. Warnings suggest this is something to fix on the side of the plugin, not some
dependency and especially not WordPress. After disabling the plugin, there are
       no warnings anywhere.
    3. Considering older versions is not an issue. Fixing PHP depreciation warnings
doesn’t require rocket science or PHP 9 code, it just requires switching completely
old and not recommended usages of mostly functions to slightly newer and likely
safer or at least more optimal versions that are mostly available even in PHP
       5. The warnings from this plugin concern functionality fully available in PHP
7, which is the earliest supported version now, as PHP 5 reached EoL over 1
       year ago.
 * Sorry, but your answer seems more like something ChatGPT would generate rather
than something experienced PHP dev would write [@adamdunnage](https://wordpress.org/support/users/adamdunnage/)

 * Of course classically I found it right after posting this – the plugins are called“
quick view”. They are based on popups though. Any plugin that shows in a section?
