 * I created a dummy user for myself and tried this and was taken through the same
   endless circle, if that makes any difference.
 * I also checked with the blog owner and, as he is also a teacher, registering 
   and commenting is a part of their class, so the option to not need to be registered
   really isn’t an option.
 * (also, I just tried to do this, but the layout has disappeared [no one else has
   access to the server except myself and I have done nothing to it] and it is slow
   to respond and the pages are now not loading properly/at all, I’ll try to get
   back to this later, thanks…)
