In reply to: [Simple Ajax Chat] Is it possible to permit brackets within username?Hi Jeff, I had a user enter a name that included brackets such as:
Joe (from England)
Which if my memory serves me correctly (I’ve since removed the ability to use brackets) in turn created a CSS style of:
.sac-user-joe-(-from-england-)
which threw the jQuery error.Dropped out again. Most likely propagation. Will check again tomorrow.
Not working here yet (London). Maybe a propogation issue still.
(EDIT) Scratch that. Just kicked in!
Thanks for the heads up! 🙂- This reply was modified 6 months, 3 weeks ago by deeve.

In reply to: [Simple Ajax Chat] Styling Emojis?That’s so weird, Jeff. Your output has styles applied to every emoji and mine doesn’t! I’m on MacOS and have tested in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. I’m stumped.

In reply to: [Simple Ajax Chat] Styling Emojis?If I look at the output again in Chrome console I see a span for the name but nothing for the chat itself or the emojis:

In reply to: [Simple Ajax Chat] Styling Emojis?I’ve tried that but no joy. Why is there no class applied in the output then?

In reply to: [Simple Ajax Chat] Styling Emojis?Sorry Jeff, I thought that would be enough to visualise the formatting is not being applied. Here’s a link to my demo. The only reason I didn’t supply this before is I’m getting spammed already by someone attempting to use HTML links in the body of the chats and the chatname. I tried using the url block in settings but that didn’t work. I’ll take this link down once you’ve had a look.

In reply to: [Simple Ajax Chat] Styling Emojis?Hi Jeff, that’s weird as mine don’t appear to have any class attached to them.

..I’ve also noticed that when the masonry grid does not appear the grid class and value is: .masonry-container.are-images-unloaded {opacity:0;}
