Cleaned the chrome cache on one laptop. Album worked now. But, on other browsers also and on other laptop also ??? Then I installed WP5.4 and the WPPA update improving lazy-load on filmstrip and now problems are back again. Cleared caches again, without much luck. I created a new album and started to import pictures from a failing album in parts. When I reached around 95 pictures, the crashes started. The album page itself displays correct, but when I click a picture to enlarge that, the crash occurs. I also noticed that it took increasingly more time to show the picture. So I guess it has something to do with indexing all images for the slideshow. So I tried to disable things at table IIB 2,3,7,10,14 trying to disable that, but without luck. The working album look sdifferent after toggling te option, but the failing album keeps failing and loading time of the selcted image still is long. What takes so long after clicking an image? Can that be disabled? I get the feeling photo’s with geolocation cause the problem. The photos that work all have no geolocation info an no map is drawn… The photos I checked that fail do have geolocations. Could it be related to that? I have no caching plugins installed. I just think it’s rather accidentally that of the 43 plugins I have enabled, this on is the only one with this issue. So either WordPress core has coded an exception for you, or there might just yet be something wrong. The thread you post is ages old (ok, two years), so thing may have changed. But I’ll just remove the requirement line and see what happens. I’m allways on the latest stable versions anyway. I’v disabled some plugins and will reactivate them one by one to see where it breaks. * Am I correct to assume the readme.txt will control the versions? I disabled some and now I can activate the easy add plugin again. Apparently the plugin does not provide a correct minimum level setting somehow. I read that recently wordpress is getting more strick in version checking. Are you sure the pluging reports a minimum level corrcetly? They open the album in the post, which is cool to start with. I was actually looking for an link to open the album page as a new page. I can do it like: `Het foto album van` But when I later re-arrange the landing page structure (which is moved to zzssooi for now) the links will change. Also the zzsooi stuff does not look nice in the url. So if you may have an alternative for this, that would be great.
