Really appreciate it. Our simple goal is to have some information available on our email ID about the booking received. We are not planning to modify the core plugin as you rightly suggested that some or other thing might go wrong. Developing a third party plugin is not on the cards as of now. I wish your team can consider to add this small facility for paid plugin users. I managed to fix the issue. The shortcode for “ search car” was added on the home page and when created a separate page for the same, all functionalities worked just fine. Probably the plugin isn’t compatible with most car rental wordpress themes or vice versa. I have now added a button on my home page that redirects the user to search form (not the best solution!) I faced the similar issue in the vik hotel booking plugin(I have the pro one). So, before buying the vik car rental plugin I wanted to try different theme, but I’ll settle for free version for now. * Thanks again for all your help on this issue. I deleted the shortcodes and created fresh pages out of the shortcodes and check the booking procedure, unfortunately it still ends up with 404 error. Although the car is booked successfuly and is reflected in the Vik dashboard with all the details. Its just that after confirming order it ends with 404 error. I’m talking about the after you press the button“ open chat” . When you click the button “open chat” the top menu opens up. I cleared my cache from my PC and also from wordpress admin panel.
