    I figured it out just now, but I wanted to display
   the actual page, created with another plugin (WR Page Builder), and it would 
   only display my posts. The issue was that the page’s template was set to “Blog
   Page Template”. As soon as I switched away from that, everything worked as I 
   expected.

 * Hi,
 * I stripped the site from default content, so I couldn’t try with Twenty Sixteen,
   but Optimizer doesn’t seem to have the issue.

 * Hi,
 * I probably found the issue not long after I posted this, but forgot to post the
   update, sorry.
    Polylang has an option to sync content, and that was turned on,
   so I suspect that that feature was the culprit. I turned it off, and it seems
   to work fine. I had to remove Polylang last week however, as currently, multilinguality
   is not needed for [our site](https://releasecandidate.testbirds.hu/)‘s next release.
 * I’ll post an update if I find something of detail when I install the plugin again.
