 * I enabled the built-in database repair function, but it didn’t seem to help.
Comments still aren’t showing up on the main page.
 * If it helps, I can maybe try posting the .php file for the wp-comments-post:

   [https://docs.google.com/document/d/19krze9ZqBTpz70X9Mj38aEV9mg-2wdHbRjSS-NXU2vU/edit](https://docs.google.com/document/d/19krze9ZqBTpz70X9Mj38aEV9mg-2wdHbRjSS-NXU2vU/edit)
 * I tried comparing it to some existing comment files people have online, but like
I said I don’t know my php, so I’m not really sure what I should be looking for.
 * I haven’t altered any code myself, except for the database repair just today.
That’s why I question whether or not a plugin can permanently alter any code –
turning my suspect plugins off isn’t fixing the problem, so I’m not sure what
   else to try from here.
 * Is there any other information that might be useful to someone that I should
post? We’ve also done a bit of combing through our source code, but there are
a lot of things pointing in a lot of different directions, so that’s a tough
   spot as well.
