 * Sorry for the delay effe7, I had not realized that anyone had asked me about 
   the post I made. I used a plug-in called Redirection. It works very well and 
   is simple to use.

 * I believe I have resolved the issue. Found a decent plugin that was pretty straightforward.
   would have still like to have gotten a reply though
